Days like these

It's days like these
When I'm down on my knees
Can't see the forest for the trees
I'm the lonely one
Days like these are a fatal disease
It always seems I'm the only one
Whatever you say never
takes it away
never seems to allay my fears
Just leave me pictures and memories
That'll be all for now
I'll swim alone in the raging seas
Someday I'll try
open my wings and
Fly
Touch the beckoning sky
Soar above mountains
Higher than high
Oh fly,
Stretch these willing wings
Hear how the song
echoes and rings
I'll be your guide then
When the road is long
When the fear is strong
I will be ever there at your side
I'll be there.
